The research draws on facts from benchmarking FIOs and their platform offerings with international platform solution providers. This research aims to examine the present platform capabilities of the FIOs and provide insights on how they can leverage the best practices to scale up their platform offerings to gain an international competitive advantage. Major information and communication technology (ICT) software service firms of Indian origin (FIOs) have increased their attention toward offering platform-based services from just legacy IT service offerings to remain competitive in the digital era.
